XXVI National gynecological conference with international participation

Aicore Bulgaria took part in XXVI National Gynecology Conference with International Participation, which took place from 11 to 14.04.2024 in the city of Borovets.

The conference is the most significant for Bulgaria in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. More than 300 gynecologists from all over the country participated. Over 80 lecturers from Bulgaria and abroad presented the latest scientific data and current information.

Aicore Bulgaria participated in the scientific program with two presentations:

– Menopause as a socially significant condition – lecturer Dr. Ivelina Gerova, president of the Bulgarian Association for Andropause and Menopause

– Aivial – effective treatment of menopausal symptoms with improved safety profile – speaker Dr. Peter Ruifrock, CEO Aicore Life Sciences

Aivial, the new medicinal product for the treatment of menopause, was officially presented to gynecologists in Bulgaria. For this purpose, the CEO of the manufacturing company, Dr. Peter Ruifrock, arrived especially from the Netherlands.

Aivial is a prescription drug that contains tibolone – STEAR – selective tissue estrogenic activity regulator – a revolutionary type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It affects hot flashes, sleep disturbances, profuse sweating and other vaso-motor symptoms of menopause, sexual dysfunction and decreased libido, which also often occur during menopause. It has a protective effect regarding osteoporosis. Due to its tissue-selective action, it has an improved safety profile compared to classical HRT.
