Apagard, Apadent, Apapro – the first remineralizing toothpastes containing nano-hydroxyapatite, now available in Bulgaria
On 28.10.2023, in Sofia, the Scientific Forum of the Bulgarian Scientific Society for Dental Medicine took place, where Aicore Bulgaria officially presented the high-quality oral hygiene products of the Japanese innovators SANGI.
APADENT and APAGARD are high-class toothpastes containing medical nano-hydroxyapatite (nano<mHAP>). APAPRO is a professional paste for use in dental offices, but can also be used at home, as per the specialist’s discretion, with a custom-made tray. nano<mHAP> is a substance owned by SANGI, produced under a NASA patent, identical to the hydroxyapatite that makes up our bones and teeth.
SANGI is the first company to implement nano-technology in oral hygiene. SANGI offers original remineralizing toothpastes that aid the natural mineralization of teeth (produced since 1980). They are suitable for use from the moment the baby’s first tooth appears, completely safe, and do not contain fluoride and abrasives.
In 1993, the Japanese Ministry of Health and Social Welfare approved SANGI’s hydroxyapatite as medical, recognizing the following three anti-cavity effects:
- Adsorption and removal of dental plaque
- Filling of microscopic defects on the tooth surface
- Remineralization of subsurface areas of mineral loss (incipient caries) SANGI includes the world’s first nanotechnology product in toothpastes.
Furthermore, in 2003, SANGI managed to reduce the size of its hydroxyapatite particles from a three-digit nano level to a finer two-digit level, improving its penetration into the enamel, the speed of remineralization, and the whiteness of the teeth.
The quality and safety of the products are proven with a number of clinical studies, both at the Central Scientific Research Laboratory SANGI, Japan, and by numerous external sources. The APADENT and APAGARD lines also include toothbrushes suitable for the whole family.
